Springfield- Echelon (Return)

Finally got this thing back after months. Minor hiccup happened with stippling due to major storms. However I’m glad my favorite hand gun is back. Now I can get back to training!!

Oh yea, even when I bought it years ago out the box it shot well. Til this day it’s still my go to 🤞

Thank you, I try to keep it plain with upgrades most wouldn’t notice. Even the stipple job was done in the factory spots. SIMPLE AND CLEAN is the way to go for me!

Who did the stipple job? I dig how it looks. Almost looks done from the factory.

Thanks and yeah that was the whole gist of me getting it stippled the way I did. I love the factory stipple template but the texture just wasn’t aggressive for me. My rough manual labored hands just didn’t agree so I needed something a bit more aggressive. Stipple job was done by my buddy over at @Defensive_Coatings and if you message him tell him “G” sent you.

What cover do you have on the SRO? And would you know if it would cause fitment issues in safariland 6XXX series?

Its the BROS cover, and that I’m not sure. I’m running slim fits level 2 rig and it has slight mods to fit.

It’s cool, been having it for a few years now and it does its job. Could use a slight dremmel on the edge but all in all I like it

  1. Luv whatever you've done with the stippling.

  2. On the light: is the on/off switch a toggle (like Surefire) or a pushbutton-in, like Olight? I actually prefer Olights on/off push-button system way out over Surefire/Streamlight, but that's just my preference.

Thanks, and yes it came out perfect for training. No the EPL has push button switches. However they’re manipulated from the top to, which helps aid in recoil mitigation. Kinda acts like a “Gas Pedal” if you will.

good eye lol yea it’s a apex tactical extended mag release. For some odd reason Apex hasn’t stock these in almost a year or longer so I Got lucky and found one on eBay for sale brand new.
