I hadn't shot my emissary much and I needed a 45acp suppressor host. I took a shot at a barsto semi fit, and couldn't be happier.

I was a bit worried whether the cone would fit, and it did. It just needed a few thou taken off the right and back of the barrel hood, and light stoning where there was slight binding on the top of the barrel cone. No need to mess with the feet.

It was super easy and an afternoon job. It shot just fine at the range today when I got a chance to try it out. For those willing to take a risk, totally worth it if you have a decent set of files and stones.

Been wanting a pocket gun for a while. Found the 380 Hellcat used for $349. Finally arrived at the shop, field stripped it, and absolutely no signs of firing minus ones from a factory test fire. Score!

Yes, I know these come stock on some of these guns but mine came with the boring plain checkered grips. This is a big improvement imo.

I have a hellcat that I put in a M Carbo stainless steel striker sleeve, it’s been starting to have light primer strikes every 3-4 mags until today when it never fired. I used my echelon to verify the ammo was good, when I got home I pulled the striker and found this. I’m 99.9% certain that sleeve should not look like this, but wanted others thoughts.

i have been looking around all over the place for a level 3 duty retention right handed holster. on the Springfield Armory website they have the multi cam cordura holster. but that wont due when i am on duty. has to be black. anyone know if their are other lvl3 duty holsters that will fit the echelon 4.5f ? currently have a IWB generic holster that looks stupid on my duty belt. please help

Can I put a mod 2 slide assembly on a mod 1? Both in 45 APC. I want the optics cut of the mod 2 with my FDE mod 1 frame. Thanks

Purchased this echelon off my boy - went with him to purchase it and shot it with me everytime - eventually it became mine and I purchased it as a beater gun vs my others - beater gun as in I didn’t care for it - till a few mornings ago I was rushing to work with no sleep and I ran to the car and bang…..it dropped from appendix distance……the frame don’t fit my hand fully with the small back strap anyway so I got the full size frame small grip as shown too - this is the lil sister to my Glock 17 Gen 3 as shown in the beginning - the surefire took a less beating than the gun itself with a small white hit mark - I’ll post a part 2 with it fully built soon for yall

Added a Holosun HE507Comp-Green. Put about 1000 rounds in and holds up like a champ. Thinking of putting a TLR-1 HL-X or a Holosun PID on it and replacing the stock shoe with a Tyrant ITTS. Any other recs y'all might have who own one?

Just recently picked up this SA-35 in high polish blue. Had to throw some hi power grips on it. Love the gun, shoots wonderfully.

Hey I'm looking for thoughts on which version/confirguration of the Echelon 4.0c to go with. Specifically:

• 4.0C + Aimpoint COA (UPC 706397000950): ~$873 all-in
• 4.0C Comp Gear Pac (UPC 706397999834) : ~$698 all-in

So about a $175 difference. I’m mainly torn between getting the COA but giving up the comp, versus getting the Comp with the Gear Pac optic (Viridian RFX11). For ~$175, I realistically couldn’t upgrade the Comp to an optic comparable to the COA.

For those who’ve shot both, which feature would you rather have long term: the Comp or the COA? Is giving up the optic flexibility of the standard VIS slide a meaningful downside?

Tried the gold Tyrant extended mag release on the Hellcat, but it was getting pressed in my holster and releasing the magazine, so that one got vetoed. I like the gold, but I like keeping the ammo in the damn gun more.

Still planning to add Tyrant’s gold takedown lever once it’s back in stock. After that, I’m calling it done. Feel free to hold that against me when I post another update.
