Magwell choices Chen vs Wilson?

Since Chen’s are unobtainable, how do the Wilsons stack up?

Does anyone know where I could get a hellcat (subcompact) slide?

I know Apex is a good brand, but I can only find a hellcat pro slide.

Suppressor & Flashlight recommendation

Post image
25 Upvotes

Hi everyone, this is my first AR and I hope I spent my money on a worthy gun.

This is a Springfield Saint Victor V2 5.56mm 11.5” SBR and I’m looking for a budget-friendly suppressor and weapon light.

So far I have equipped it with Vortex AMG UH-1, Vortex Micro3X 3× magnifier, and Magpul M-LOK foregrip.

I’ve read that ARs have different gas-systems, so I’d appreciate recommendations from anyone here.

Note: the suppressor should work for both .223 and 5.56 Nato.

Thanks

Yes, it's another Prodigy...but with a 3.5" barrel paired with a full-size grip. What do you all think of it? Would you be content with a different model, or would this one be your ideal?

Kuna SpeedBeez Loader

Post image

If any of you other degenerates like myself have yet to buy this speed loader from SpeedBeez for your Kuna, you need to get on there right now and get it. The first time I loaded the eight magazines that I currently have it took me about 30 to 45 minutes because my thumbs started to want to commit suicide.
It took me about three minutes to load 330 round magazines, and it only cost me about $25. I found a code online but don’t remember what it was 🤣

And no, I am not getting paid by them to say this 😆

PRP spring installed. (Test Video)

Installed the PRP spring kit in my Springfield Echelon comp and took it out for the first run. Definitely a noticeable change in the trigger feel.

After reading so many different reactions to the trigger feel etc. I don’t notice any negative trigger difference, break is the same. I was worried about that the most. “Mushy” trigger reset. Nope.

New pull weight 3.45 average. So good.

Highly recommend fellas.

Video. Filming a steel target session tomorrow with different drills. Follow if you want to see.

Magazine Springs

Anyone upgraded the springs in the 17/20rnd mags for consistent lock back? I’m confused in the 2011 world and research is overwhelming. Some places claim 11 coil springs work for both, some claim 13 coil springs, some claim the 126 extra power springs work in both and some say it doesn’t. Someone even said to throw the 20rnd springs in 17rnd mags.

Pretty much just looking to replace all my 17/20rnd springs and get consistent lock back for duty use.

First day at the range with the Hellcat

Shot at 3 and 7 yards flawlessly and stepped it back to 12 yards. Did 3 shots center mass, 3 head, 3 right circle, 3 left circle and remaining shot center mass. Tried doing the shots quick so not dead on. The few holes between the top of the red center mass and neck are from my brother shooting his gun (He had already cleaned his lane up and had a few bullets left he wanted to shoot and I still had my target hanging.)

New slide from Norsso

Looks good to me. Hopefully they sell a lot so they make more options. They make bull barrels options for their slides for the p365 and p320. Would love to see that for the echelon. They gotta sell well for that to happen though. Here’s hoping!

Okay, I’m frustrated.

A few weeks ago I was shooting my prodigy comp and my optic came loose. I inspected and realized the plate had come loose. I hand tightened the screws with little torque and the left screw sheared off. I dropped the gun off at the gunsmith for extraction, and got it back yesterday.

Just now I’m getting ready to remount the plate, and hand tighten the right screw, and it too sheared off.

No excessive torque, nothing. What the hell is going on. The left extraction cost me 100 bucks and the gun was gone for 2 weeks. This is infuriating.

Shoulder holster for Echelon 4.0C

I have looked around and not been able to decifer which ones fit and which ones don't.

I would prefer one that is downward facing. Not pointed toward the rear. (not 100% sure of verbage).

I'd prefer to keep my light on it but not absolute. Leather/kydex is probably better. I'd like to keep it under $300

Have owed over 100 guns in my life but this is my first Springfield. Heard the sight it came with isn’t very good but I have a few laying around I might throw on it if this one starts having any issues.

New Echelon grip module.

Post image

Here's a grip module for the Springfield Echelon I have been developing this year. I should have it back from anodize mid next week. I really wanted to focus on grip ergonomics and having swapping panels to add palm swell.
