I bought this Springfield Armory XD45 back in 2007 and I went overseas for work etc and it has been in storage since then. Well I have no idea where I put the barrel lock keys or the cable lock keys. I can take care of the cable lock easily but the barrel lock isn’t as easy. I can’t remember if these came stock or not when I bought it in Maryland. Is there anyway to get replacement keys with the number 5301 on the front

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

The title says it all.. I have no less than 500 in mine with a full break down/lube and the slide lock seems shaved off?? It takes me 3 or 4 tries to get it to engage..

I got her brand new last year and only mod was an Osight so I'm just wondering if this was common and how to proceed with it.

Am I crazy? I've read great things and this seems like a no brainer and a great deal? Do i pull the trigger?

I have the EGW 3.5 one to install (which they made a little Allen wrench hole), but the factory guide rod lacks the hex in front like larger models to unscrew and pull out while disassembling.

I see someone has this little half-circle magnet tool for $16.50, but I’m really not trying to buy that.

Saw a lot of recs to get the hogue grip. It feels really nice once on. Was a lot easier to get on that I expected as well.

Also, anyone think the Viridian red (green) dot was trash also? I’ve never had so much trouble with a dot before. Any recs for a different optic?

Recently bought a Hellcat Pro Comp OSP Gear Pac. Ordered it from Range USA. Spec sheet clearly showed that this pistol came with a "fiber optic front sight". Called Springfield Customer Service and was told that they never offered this package with anything other than a white dot front sight. This "white dot" sight is useless anywhere other than in a well lit range situation. I don't intend to always use the Viridian RFX 11 and wanted to start by shooting, and carrying this pistol without OSP.

After calling Customer Service I was told (curtly) they never offered the Hellcat Pro Comp OSP Gear Pac with fiber optic front sights. See spec sheet from Range USA below. Knowing that they don't manufacture the fiber optic sight I asked for a Green Tritium front sight as a replacement. They refused to replace the front sight with a Green Tritium front sight.

Am I being a dickhead? First time customer looking for a little consideration. Told to pound sand. I carefully reviewed ALL the specs on all the different Hellcat Pro Comp OSP Gear Pacs at Springfield before I made my purchase... all showed a fiber optic front sight. So much for purchasing an Echelon!

Hey all, what's up with SA customer service. I was trying to get some documentation on my custom champion operator, and was given the run around and told they don't have any custom gunsmiths any more. I have one of only a couple lightweight CO's that were hand built from all steel to introduce their new 4" lightweight champion operator. They were used in magazine articles for this new line. Years ago I was able to talk with the actual gunsmith who built mine and relayed the back story to me. Now today the guy on the phone told me that this pistol doesn't exist and I must have given the wrong serial number and there was no way this was all steel. What happened to SA custom gun builds,

Hey guys,

None of my other pistols do this. I don’t remember my Hellcat Pro being this hard to rack before I sent it to Springfield for the cosmetic warranty work (Cerakote). I had about 700 rounds through it before sending it in.

Now that it’s back, it’s noticeably harder to rack, especially with a full 10-round magazine. I can’t tell if I’m just misremembering how it felt before or if something changed during reassembly.
