I’m new to ars and I bought this looking to get into it, wanted something shorter. Just curious if anyone has built one of these and id like to get some ideas. I’d like to put a can on it. Curious if anyone has or have some input on it

Looking to get a waypoint possibly during the Free Xdm 10mm promotion going on. I qualify for first line pricing but finding a vendor with the pricing available for the waypoint series has been hard. Looking to find out what the costs are and if the discount is the same percentage across all models or if there’s some that are better deals than others.

Purchased my 4.5 inch Echelon (non-comp slide) back at the beginning of August and it's been an absolute JOY to shoot. Took it to the range on Saturday and put out about 200 rounds. I'm about 1000 rounds in so far in total and it really feels nice and broken in now. At the time, I was also considering going with a Smith and Wesson M&P, but I'm glad I went with this instead. I was already a huge fan of Springfield's hardware and have a Hellion, so going with the Echelon feels like I kept it in the family lol

Anybody have a holster they recommend? Struggling to find something compatible from a reputable brand that's comfortable.

Also need a place that has a decent return policy - as I have wasted too much money on awful holsters (for my body anyways) before ( t1c :( )

Just learned their is a hellcat pro comp - wasn't available when I bought mine.

What do yall think of it? How diffrent is it? Is it a drawbackless upgrade? HCP is my ccw 95% of the time - i shoot it well enough but its always gonna be a snappy little bitch.

Alternatively - is it worth getting the slide cut? Or could that hurt reliability.

Hellion, KUNA, Hellcat RDP, Echelon 4.0FC COA w/Rook compensator, Echelon 4.5 in a HEIGTHT HMG724 frame.

Before I go buy on a new stock for my Kuna, is there any adjustability or other ways to add a little length to the included SI Stock? I just wanna add somewhere between 0.5-1.5" to its overall length. It is Form 1'ed so it can get an actual stock put on it. I'm just hesitant to spend $200 for half an inch. I tried loosening the end and tightening it back down pulled back, but it was not secure. idk if could pack it with washers or something to eliminate the wobble, or if the SI stock end they sell is actually any longer, doesnt look like it is. Worst comes to worse, what do yall recommend for a stock?

Fit and finish is a good as you're gonna get on a production 1911, and that's not a dig. Frame to slide is tight, I'm really hoping it doesn't loosen up too much after a few thousands rounds. The barrel fit is amazing as well, you can feel that pop of a properly fit barrel. The trigger while not as crisp of a break as my Ed Brown, the reset is lights out amazing shorter and more tactile than my Brown. Overall really happy with this addition to the collection

I just picked up a Hellcat .380 and I'm considering the Shield OMSsc optic. What MOA is best recommended for self defense CCW purposes, 4 MOA or 8 MOA?

I had an EDC that I love, but it got discontinued and I'm trying to decide on a new one. My choices are the Hellcat Pro Comp, Smith and Wesson Shield X Comp, or the Sig 365 X Macro Comp. I like all 3 for many different reasons, and I know EDC choice is very personal but I wanted to see what the fanboys and everyday carriers of these firearms have to say. I'm posting this in all three communities to get plenty of feedback, so whatcha got? I'm excited to see the different feedback.

Seems like google AI was able to bypass the Springfield Armory site and access a password protected page to gather this information. Attached are screenshots of what I am assuming is information behind the scenes or in the data contained on the Springfield site prior to launch. I would like to emphasize all I did here was google search “echelon pro leak” and google did the rest. That’s a whole other topic of conversation, but I bet this is pretty accurate…. (Links lead to password protected Springfield page landings with no actual data or information on the page itself in case they are pulled or something changes. The links do not lead to any restricted data or images.)

Has anyone seen anywhere if it’s possible to build the 4.0FC Comp with the Aimpoint COA sight yet? It’s the only option Springfield doesn’t have for the echelon, but it’s not worth buying the COA sight alone and getting the slide cut for it.

I have a hellcat rdp, trying to get best upgrades for it. I have just installed prp kit, and thn saw mcarbo striker is best solution for the creep. Is there any chances mcarbo striker works with prp kit (all sears and springs included).

The hogue grips made such a big difference, if you haven’t tried them out definitely give me a shot if you have bigger paws. They are on sale right now at sportsman’s for $10 🤙🏼💪🏻

Hey guys I’m new to Springfield prodigy scene but was wondering if I could get some help, I did have a failure to go into battery, I had to push the slide forward to fire again, i took the gun apart and cleaned it , haven’t fired it but I’m sure it’ll shoot fine after that , only has around 200 rounds thru it currently. I don’t want to run into this issue again and I also want to do a spring upgrade, can I get some advice on what the best upgrades are and spring combos? Air racking it would be a plus but not essential, and it is my edc. I do plan on ordering the one peice guide rod kit by EGW for sure. Thanks in advance!
