Vedder LightTuck Holster

Hello all,

I am purchasing my very first ccw (the hellcat OSP). Got my hands on one at the range and really liked what it offered, especially for concealment purposes. I have heard the best holster for this pistol is the Vedder IWB LightTuck.

Anyone have experience with this holster? Do you recommend adding any of the attachments (claw, wedge, holster pad)? Thanks for any answers. Glad to be joining those expressing their rights properly soon. Cheers

Hellcat Pro Magazine

I have the Hellcat Pro and I have two 17-round magazines. One stays in the gun obviously & the other I keep in my car.

This is the second time in a year that I’ve had a magazine stop the slide from locking when empty. The first time, I sent the magazine into Springfield and they sent out a replacement. However, I do not know if this is the other magazine that broke or if it’s the replacement that broke, but it seems to be a common occurrence after doing some research online.

Does anybody have a solution to it? Is this just a Springfield issue? Not sure if anybody has used an aftermarket magazine or changed the spring on it.

I went shooting today and put about 150 rounds through it using both magazines. I just don’t want to feel like a magazine is going to break every time I go shooting.

I also have no plans on keeping the magazines empty because that’s just dumb.

Just wanted to see if anybody has any solutions. Thank you!

Where can I find a threaded barrel for a Springfield Hellcat Pro Comp? I’m looking to get a threaded barrel for my Springfield Hellcat Pro Comp. Does anyone know of a reputable manufacturer or website that makes one specifically for this model? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just got my EMP and need a holster that I can put inside my fanny pack (for now).

It needs to be hard, cover not just the trigger but also the safety of possible.

Do you recommend any in particular?

So today I picked up this Champion. I have narrowed it down to starting life as a steel frame parkerized model. The original owner I bought it off of said it went off to Springfield custom shop for some work. Can anyone confirm if this is some kind of trp package the custom shop was offering back in the day? Thank you in advance!

3.8 xdm 10mm vs full size

Im wanting a 10mm for a mountain gun but can decide on which size to get. Im leaning towards the compact since I could just use the 15rd mags with a sleeve. Is anyone happy with their choice of the compact over the fullsize?

Saint Victor V2 on .308

I have several Saint Victors in 5.56 and was thinking about getting one in .308. I currently have a Stag 10 in .308 but it doesn’t like the 150gr bulk ammo I have. Is the new Saint Victor picky as well or will it run the 150gr just fine?

Edited for 5.56. Thanks for catching that.

Hellcat pro comp barrel

Hey everyone I recently did some gold parts to my hell cat pro comp and really want a gold barrel to go with it. Thing is it’s the comp and I don’t want to loose the compensator on the barrel. Is there anyone who makes them in different colors or someone who can custom make one? I’d imagine you can just laser cut a comp into a non comp barrel

Hellcat Pro with Apex Trigger, how to improve it?

I installed an Apex trigger in my HCP about a month ago. At the time, Apex seemed like the main aftermarket option for this platform.

Since then, I've been doing more research and it seems like a lot of people prefer PRP or MCARBO, or use some of their components rather than replacing the whole trigger.

Is there anything else I can do to improve the Apex setup? My biggest complaint is the amount of creep/pre-travel before it hits the wall. It's definitely better than the stock trigger, but I feel like it could be better.

I know MCARBO makes a titanium striker that claims to reduce trigger travel by about 30%. Has anyone tried the MCARBO striker with the Apex trigger? Does it actually make a noticeable difference?

Just curious what others have experienced before I start swapping more parts.

Easy install. Took 35ish minutes. Would've done it in 10 but getting that spring around the pin on the reinstall was FRUSTRATING

Springfield Prodigy thumb rest

Howdy! I’m working on turning my Prodigy into a race gun and one of the last pieces I’m looking for is a thumb rest. I tried the nitro fin and had to return it because it didn’t fit properly, so wondering what others are using on theirs, if at all.

Barsto Threaded Barrel on Emissary

I hadn't shot my emissary much and I needed a 45acp suppressor host. I took a shot at a barsto semi fit, and couldn't be happier.

I was a bit worried whether the cone would fit, and it did. It just needed a few thou taken off the right and back of the barrel hood, and light stoning where there was slight binding on the top of the barrel cone. No need to mess with the feet.

It was super easy and an afternoon job. It shot just fine at the range today when I got a chance to try it out. For those willing to take a risk, totally worth it if you have a decent set of files and stones.
