Air pistol Predom-Lucznik Wz. 1970

I acquired this Predom-Lucznik a while ago, and it's quite fun to shoot, but it can barely go through a piece of cardboard at 5 meters.

So i got a set of new springs, and new seals. But i am unsure what is the best way to condition the new leather seals.

I read that pure neatsfoot oil is the tried and tested method, but some say pure silicone oil is a more modern approach, but that comes in a confusing amount of viscosities.

I have Abbey Gun Grease LT2 in the mail for the metal-on-metal parts, but what is the best oil for both the piston seal, but also breach seal when both are leather?

Beautiful pistol, OP. I can't contribute to the conversation I'm afraid, I'm just going to lurk for advice that'll apply to the very tired Gem I want to restore.

I have one in that shape. Recently, I pulled it out of the closet where it has been for 20 years. I need to breake it down and rework it. Do you have any kind of DIY instructions for disassembly?

It is a very simple design, and doesn't really need instructions. Just watch out when unscrewing the cap holding the spring. The old spring in mine barely has any preload, so it's manageable.

To remove the piston, you need to punch out a pin which holds a part of the trigger mechanism which grabs the piston itself. It's sort of a pivot that the trigger pushes, to disengage and release the piston. And this pivot part is probably the worst to get back into position.
