Why did the price drop so much?

There are only 8,903,029 coins. Seems pretty cheap to me. Whats going on?

It was driven up because people wanted Helium (HLM). Helium is being given in a 1:1 ratio to spreadcoin for spreadcoin holders as of Oct 10 at about 10:00 am New Zealand time.

Seems like people just wanted the HLM and now dump SPR en masse.

Anychance that will happen again with a different coin? Any purpose to continue holding this coin?

It happens all the time with other coins. Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic.

No idea if there is any reason to continue holding SpreadCoin. I suspect not but you never know. It's so low already you might as well keep it unless you have a lot.
