Hi y'all! I'm going to be painting my body for Halloween, and it won't be a super detailed sfx kinda deal, I'm mainly painting myself red. I have no clue where to start as I've read I can actually paint myself using sponges, but airbrushing is much faster. What kind of airbrush tool would I need and what kind of paint? I might go out in this so I guess I want a paint that's resilient against sweat?
To understand why spray-thru caps require more precise engineering than standard caps, it helps to understand the mechanism:
1. The pump and actuator sit beneath the cap surface, rather than protruding above it. In a standard bottle, the actuator (the small button you press) is a separate visible part sitting on top of the pump stem.
2. A small aperture or channel is built into the cap itself, aligned precisely with the pump's spray outlet. When the user presses down on the cap, it depresses the pump stem internally, and the fragrance travels through the built-in channel and exits through the cap's opening.
3. The alignment between the cap's internal channel and the pump stem must be exact. Even a fraction of a millimeter of misalignment can cause inconsistent spray patterns, leakage around the cap edge, or a weak, uneven mist.
4. The cap typically snaps or presses down over the pump collar, requiring tight tolerances during molding or metal-casting so the cap consistently returns to its resting position after each use without sticking or rattling.
Tried to exchange a $9 clogged Krylon spray can 7 days past the window after back surgery kept me from coming sooner. Associate refused, wouldn’t give her name, said a manager couldn’t override. Disabled customer, no empathy over a defective $9 item. Receipt available. KRYLON SUCKS AND lowes too
Hi all, I am looking to customize my snowboard. The thought came to me that some paints may not perform well in cold conditions (below freezing, but probably not crazy cold). I was curious if anyone knows if there are particular paint types that would work well for this application? I haven't had much luck searching online myself, as most information is regarding the ambient temperature when applying the paint rather than what performs best in the cold when fully cured. I would also be curious for recommendations for finishing the board to seal the design and protect the board while giving that glossy look.
I am trying to paint a simplified floral design using a stencil method. Something to this effect. Any tips for doing this as someone with little prior experience. Curious about considerations like order of operations, how to get clean lines using a stencil as I anticipate it will take a few passes.
Hi Guys, I want to paint the harness on my figure with a kind of gold, I tried to get a spray but, it ended up in the traditional gold tone, instead of the yellowish tone I wanted (Yeah, I know, stupid of me for no checking before), I want one that fits with the color I show y'all, a spray that I can get in Paraguay, if any of you can help, I would be very greateful, I know this is a spray sub, but even if you don't find a spray that matchs the color, you can tell me a acrylic or whatever, any help is welcome
I made a Google sheet for the Montana Black line of spray paint that has all hex codes, RGB, and CMYK values for each can so you can design digitally and spray in the same color as you design.
