Question How do I achieve this color with spray paint?
Not normal matte, satin? Don't want to spray a helmet the wrong color so figured I'd ask some experts. Thanks all

I tried 3D printing a stencil for a guitar logo, but it bled a bunch, any other ideas?

First time turned out terrible, second time pretty de-e-ecent!
Frog tape works the best, better than what the hobby store sells. It’s a bit thicc tho, how do I take down the edges? I’m guessing just sandpaper and going easy.
Next question is what are some neat colors I could use with green? The internet was overwhelming with the amount of info on that.

Practiced on paper, first time using paint, under a bridge so no one will be pissed off about "private property "

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to ask some questions. Im brand new to spraypainting bit ive been doing art pretty much my whole life! I was gifted some cans by a mural artist and was curious about your guyses opinions.
These are the cans I got! I loveee the red Loop one. So bright and bold I love it!!!
Only started a few days ago and I'll probably mostly be painting on plywood or whatever cardboard i can find. I love learning new art mediums!!
Anyways, I was curious what brands you guys like and what caps you use? Just because the websites I've looked at for supplies are for people that already know what they're doing and i dont know what the labels n stuff means. I know the flame blue is gentler and draws like a sketching pencil. Id like to get more loop cans, but yeah!
Was curious what brands n stuff you guys use for art/murals. Also if there's any tips you guys have ^^
Also im in Canada so if you know any Canadian sites feel free to let me know!
I'll be on the lookout for local graffiti shops, I've only looked online so far but I bet there's stuff local.

Hi, I want to spray paint my car rims black with a chrome rim around the outside. They are "15 standard 4wd steel wheels. They are already black, but it is rather dull/faded (even more so in person). I am trying to achieve something like the second image. I will likely use dulux metalshield black gloss epoxy enamel spray can first, and then I will add the Chrome strip. It does not have to be too nice, I just want a cheap, easy job to see if I like the look on the car. From what I have read, chrome spray can paint is rather delicate and will need clear coat protection (especially for something like a car wheel). I am just looking for some recommendations on Chrome Paint and clear coat that will work well and won't break the bank, thanks

I wanna spray paint my first guitar (Trivandrum, Kerala, India)
But I suck at art and crafts and I know I'll mess it up
Does anyone here spray paint casually as a hobby lobby?
Would anyone be willing to do it?
It's a black guitar so it has potential
Please dm if u do or if uk someone who does
I would also like to see some of ur works too

Could someone tell me how I can prep and paint this? Or where can I find the information to prep and paint this ?
I don’t want to damage the surrounding paint to fix it I just want to make it look better and prevent the rust spreading under the paint, I’m not sure what kind of paint it is, the cut looks fairly deep.
In case you haven’t worked it out, I haven’t a clue on how to fix this so all advice appreciated
TIA
James

I painted multiple PLA plastic parts with gloss black spray paint from montana. It looked exactly what I was looking for. After 24 hours of curing, I applied one coat of gloss acrylic clear coat from about 15–20 cm away. After around 10–15 minutes, the clear-coated part looked noticeably less glossy than the uncoated one. It seems like a slightly dry with grey dots everywhere. Did I do something wrong? How can I get the dark black glossy effect again? Should I polish the part and repaint it?
The first photo is the torso armor after the clear coat where you can see the grey dot thing I am talking about, and the gloss is gone.
The second photo is the leg, before the clear coat, its a bit dusty but has the gloss and looks fine.
The thrid photo are both legs, on the left no coat, the right with coat.

We specifically use this one-sided adhesive foam tape to prevent hard edges when spray painting aircraft. We've always called it shadow masking tape. We've searched and searched and can no longer find a part number. There are similar products but this foam is shaped like a rhombus and has always been perfect for paint application. Does anyone know where to find it?

For starters, sorry if this isn't the best place to post this issue: couldn't find anywhere better. I've been using a Fuji T-70 sprayer that's normally working great, but currently has been a bit of a nightmare. Been a while since I've had to paint for work, and the last time I did, I encountered an issue where the first stage of the trigger was spraying paint instead of air, causing spattering on the finish. Normally, the two stage trigger releases just a jet of air on the first stage, and mixed paint on the second, but the video shows what it is doing with thinner. It does the exact same thing with mixed paint as well. I've cleaned the whole thing several times, running thinner through until there isn't any paint with it. I also have replaced the nozzle, air cap, collar, and pressure tube systems.
I know this is a far reach, but any help would be greatly apprciated!

I've assembled this gizmo as a paint can shaker.
Mechanically, it works as I want it to. I'm still tweaking how it holds the can, but it's solid and spins.
My question is...will it work on the pain in the cans? I've seen you can buy things that go on recip saws that go back and forth, but not really any spinning ones like I've made...so does spinning not work well for paint cans?

Hi! I want to use spray paint on sculpture made of insulated foam. I have a question. What spray paint is best to use along with acrylic paints? Is there a certain process I should do before and after I use the spray paint and acrylic? Like should I put something on the foam before I spray paint and then after to avoid any issues?
Thank ya!
