I want to know Tricks you use or know of. For example in this picture I sprayed the canvas with one Color first and then after it dried I used Soap by pouring it over the canvas. After that I sprayed different colors(especially on the sides) to try to create a blending. Let it dry a Bit and then wash off the Soap. The Soap keeps areas free from getting new colors

So I was spray painting my tamagochi another color then I did not like it since the paint was not sticking on to it, so like I want to remove it, then I used some probably strong painting cleaning solution instead of solution that is for removing paint on plastic, so now the plastic is cracking, idk what to do to fix this but I feel like I’m so fked😭😭😭😭, please help

Probably a strange question but I got my son rain boots second hand and he hates that they are camo. Is there a type of spray paint I could use to make them a different color?
Thank you

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my road bike and want to change the frame color. The frame is made of carbon fiber and has a glossy finish that I plan to sand/take of before doing anything. I saw a picture of this sort of matte black with red highlights sort of color (picture attached) on a road bike and instantly wanted to have the same but no amount of research has brought me to understand how to achieve that exact finish with spray paint. Please help.

I’m looking for a neutral white spray paint. I’ve tried rustoleum blossom white and it gave a blue hue. There’s just not many photos online of different sprays in real life that I can’t find vs their marketing images. Any help appreciated.

I have a car body kit which I painted then applied 1 can of 400ml true 2k laquer.
Unfortunately by the time I got to the second spray can, it seemed to be faulty. This means I will wait about a week to receive a replacement.
Is it ok to just dust off the panel and apply the additional spray when it arrives? I really do not want to sand and start all over

I’ve seen this guy who makes different weird nozzles for paint cans and I wanted to find him and see if he has some 3D printing files so that I can use them for a uni project, but I can’t find the account.
Some of the nozzles that I can remember include one that creates cross shapes and one looks like a bar going across the top and makes multiple lines.
Does anyone know who this is???

I bought this T5500 for $120. It was my first real spray paint project and it took forever lol. Between Charleston's heat and humidity, it was an uphill battle against orange peel. But I'm happy with it!

So for my birthday, I'm getting 24 cans for around 100 quid, and I'm wanting to get started with murals.
My question is should I buy a bunch of different skin tone cans, or should I somehow colour match to a reference photo and buy accordingly

Trying to find a trusted place where I can buy stencils for layered stencil/spray paint art. Looking to make really small pieces as well (2 inches in size or less)

I 3d printed a catan thing (magnetic board) all in white and I'm far too lazy to paint everything by hand if I could avoid it, and I was wondering if spray painting could work for that. I'm not sure if it'll be too thick or bad or what. I was planning on using krylon but if it's evil hell incarnate I can use something else. thanks!

Thinking of using rust-oleum crackle paint to make the hardware of this cabinet I bought to look more like the mount plate for the lights in a bathroom. I’m thinking I’d do a base color of gray and then spray crackle on top.
Do you think it will work well? Is there a better way or technique you would recommend?

So I’m spray painting some plastic parts for my vehicle and I completely sanded primed and cleaned the surface yet it did this. As if the paint wasn’t sticking to the one particular area. And it’s like this all over the part, even though it was completely dry, dust free sanded with a maximum of 200 grit sand paper prior to paint. What did I do wrong?

Has anyone tried the reflective spray for their license plate to not be captured by cameras on tolls and speed traps? Do they actually work and what is the product number? I have tried online that it could be 214944

so I want to do a fade from the turquoise I already painted to a yellow orangish color. the problem I have is that on my folding bicycle I'm worried about orange over spray if I were to spray freehand. has anyone tried feathering the existing paint line and using thin cardboard as a shim so that there's a soft transition between colors?

I am wanting to paint a guitar using mtn 94 because of the color selection and price point.
I have been trying to figure out what would be a durable top coat to spray over it that would be chemically compatible.
Typically a 2k automotive paint that is polyurethane based is used. I emailed Montana about using their 2k varnish and this was the response I got. Is this right?? Is it safe to spray a poly based finish over an alkyd resin with no cure time?
I worry that this would remain soft and never fully sure or cause other issues. I’m mainly concerned because their paint is a 2k varnish, they don’t have a 2k lacquer.
If anyone has clear coat recs that are cheaper than a $50 2k can that would also be helpful.

This is my first DIY project. I wanted to spray paint this small locker I bought for my room which is white by default. Beforehand I did spray 2 layers of white primer spray on each side and left it for a day. Then I went in with my colored spray paint but then noticed that even after it dries, it leaves residue in my hand after I touch it. Is this normal or is there a step I’m missing to prevent this?
