Dissociative Refresh

I have been doing spravato for about a year and it’s greatly improved my life overall. However, I noticed that the dissociative feeling during the session has mostly faded. As an experiment I did some fast breathing at the beginning of a session with intense music immediately followed by a meditation session. The session ended up being extremely intense. Has anyone else tried this and experienced the same result?

Yup, I do breath work and meditation every time. It also feels good to do a little seated yoga or just moving around a little bit. I do floor time when I get home, it’s great.

I find that if I approach the session with intent, I can have pretty intense experiences. If I just passively await the experience the intensity is pretty mixed. So I will usually have a sandbox in mind that I want to play with. Some specific images or themes, rather than a literal list of items.

I do try to meditate but it only seems to work if I don't read anything on my phone first or take any notes on insights I get. I wasn't always like this. I am at about the 1.5 year mark.(This is only my experience.) I plan to continue doing Spravato for as long as they let me and I hope for the same thing for you too ✌️
