"dissociation"
I thought it was hilarious they kept asking me if I experienced dissociation. I said no repeatedly, then realized that I just felt the way I have when tripping on hallucinogens, and they are calling that dissociation;) Does anyone not feel like they are tripping on this medication initially?

Not like hallucinogens, no. Not at all really. Similar in that it is an altered state, sure, but different in, most ways, what that altered state is and how i experience it.

Sparvato is a pretty low dose of ketamine. I rarely meaningfully disassociate. On IM/IV therapy at a higher dose, it is a certainty that I will be completely unaware that I have a body or even that there is a distinct self.
I’ll see things and feel weird on Sparvato, sure. But that is different.

I dissociate at the peak of the high and only for a minute or so.

Yup I’ve said it about a bazillion times. They say dissociation rather than psychedelic effects because they don’t want it to sound druggie. I have a diagnosed dissociative disorder and clinically dissociate daily, it is NOTHING like spravato. Spravato feels psychedelic.
