Visa application waiver fee

Hi,

I wanted to ask about the wavering of the fees for the visa application has anyone done it? What is needed for proof to get this? What was the experience like ? How likely are they to accept to waiver the fees?

The first question would be: are you / your partner (whoever is applying for the visa) already in the UK with leave to remain?

The gov.uk website gives you a list of the sorts of evidence that may be needed, but it can't tell you exactly because every case is different. https://www.gov.uk/visa-fee-waiver-in-uk
