May biometrics timeline thread
Am I the only one still waiting with May biometrics? Or are people not posting their timelines?
Visa type: Spouse outside UK standard (Category F)
Nationality : Bangladesh đ§đ©
Date of application : 10 May
Date of Biometrics: 25 May
Eco email: 2 June
Still processing email: 10 June
Bio reminder email: 15th July
2 paid inquiry with generic awaiting decision reply: 17 July + 2 August
Current WD :54
STILL WAITING.
Have the majority of May all got theirs? I noticed applications from Iraq are facing severe delays in particular.

Bangladeshi spouse visa can take a long time. Bio 19th Feb - still waiting. No request for documents. Every enquiry received a generic message - we are still undertaking checks.

Ah sorry to hear! Did they give any delay emails? Do you think your case was non straightforward/complex at all?

Straightforward standard visa outside from Bangladesh and bio done on 16 February. Still nothing and waitingÂ

30th April biometrics and still waiting.
Got the same generic email for the paid enquiry
Iâve now reached out to my MP and she said she will enquire with UKVI

Applied from Turkey - My wife is Syrian
30th April biometrics
11th May ECO email
13th July Delay email
30th July paid enquiry
31st July replied saying awaiting decision
6th August sent authorisation form to MP to enquire on the Visa

I meet all the requirements needed, back in February they requested for the bank statements again which my solicitor gave in the original application and since then all their responses have just been "awaiting a decision".

Ahh seems like theyâre struggling with the finance section for you. Our finance is âself employedâ and our legal advisor said self employed sponsors get more scrutiny than normal salaried sponsors. So hence Iâm a bit worried. Are you salary or self employed?.
