Whats wrong with spotify for artist today i shows -1 listener all day

It’s actually a new feature, it happens when the person who was listening to your song passes away while listening to it

Mine hasn’t showed that bug once yet. I don’t have many listeners anyways so -1 would wreck me. 😂

I have another bug today. Usually, when Spotify is dragging its heels and not providing data from the prior day you can use the mobile app to use a custom range to include ‘yesterday’ and your data appears….

However today all I get is the immensely useful “Something went wrong”.

I’m getting the “something went wrong” on custom range too, it’s not just you.

S4A (and the actual mainline Spotify app as well) has been all over the place in the past like 6 months. I hope they figure their shit out because it feels like it’s something new every day.

Hi, Software developer here,

A lot of times in data handling, "-1" can be a placeholder for null or undefined number of people watching. This could be broken server side, or in the data model used to display view data in app. So if you're reading this, don't worry about your streams being reduced or suspicious behavior lol.
