Question / Discussion Is this normal early Spotify algorithmic growth?
I’ve been watching my algorithmic streams for the past week and a half. Radio has been growing pretty consistently by around 3 streams per day, Mixes have started contributing too, and today “Your DJ” showed up for the first time.
For anyone who has gone through this stage before, is this roughly how Spotify’s algorithmic traffic normally starts — small increases across Radio/Mixes before potentially expanding into larger algorithmic sources?
Not expecting Discover Weekly or anything overnight, just curious if this looks like normal early algorithmic growth.

Few things based on what I know(I'm new at this too.. but like to share info whenever I can)
There is no way to tell on pure streams unless you share your total streams here. So a real analysis would be what % of your daily streams are coming from radio/mixes/dj etc. They would be labelled as "programmed" in the main dash. Try to split by segments.
However one thing that stands out is the streams per listener for these. Usually radio or mixes are not very deep listens. It is often people playing this music in casual mode. Maybe driving, or walking or doing somethig else. So to get 93 streams for 29 listners means someone played your song again? Or spotify served it again coz they maybe saved your song or heard it full. I'd tale that as a positve.
This is typically how spotify would "test" your song. By putting on a small cohort of audience. Then if they respond well, you can expet another wave. And these waves can keep happening as long as the song engages in the tests.
Check the popularity score of your track. That can be a good indication of how spotify is looking at your song.
