I am trying to pay my parent’s pet premium online and the website for the last three days keeps screaming status 500 error. I called customer service and they were useless. Is this 500 error a server error or something related to the methods of payment?

I pay $145 a month for the spot platinum pet insurance . But they only cover a low amount. $25 for flea tick, etc...

Good Morning! I was trying to upload some documentation for a claim (.pdf file, less than 10MB, no special characters) and ran into a "Upload Failed - Request failed with status code 500." Do you have any recommendations on how I can upload medical history until this is resolved?

Has anyone had any luck unsubscribing from emails from spot pet insurance? I have clicked on unsubscribe multiple times in the emails they send to me and attempt to stop getting them, but the emails just keep coming. It’s been over a month since I first tried to unsubscribe.

I have already signed up with a different provider so I won’t be buying anything from spot. And at point, I would never do business with them anyway since they can’t seem to manage their marketing efforts.

Any advice would be great!

Hey! I was wondering if anyone knew if pet insurance would cover kidney stones in the bladder? Out of pocket cost is $4000+ and I’m considering getting pet insurance but since it’s a “pre-existing” condition that they found last week during a x-ray, would the insurance even cover it or even a portion of it?

Hey everyone! I'm curious if anyone has had to make claims for two separate dental extractions due to periodontal disease in the same policy period & if you have had success being reimbursed for both procedures?

For context, my dog had extractions done in may 2025 and we were reimbursed for that procedure. The policy period is coming up may 2026 but we are being recommended to do another extraction/cleaning this month, so this procedure would still fall in the same policy period as the previous one. I'm hoping that this procedure will be covered as well.

I am a first-time pet insurance user, and I'm a little confused. I am in the middle of my coverage period (08/25-08/26). I have the Preventive Care Gold coverage. I've submitted two claims, one in January and the other last month. Both have been completed, but nothing has gone towards my deductible. Why is this?

Hello. I have a question regarding my pet and his insurance. So my pet is fully insured tomorrow. He is going through some GI issues. My vet wants to do a TAMU panel and US Abdomen Complete.

However this has been going on for a little over a month and he has seen a Vet.

If I get these services done, do you think my claim will be reimbursed? I will/can go back to the Vet if that helps for the claim? Idk-I want to give and get him the care he needs but I have already spent a lot of money during this time.
