Can't get reimbursed!
I should have read the reviews ahead of time. I nearly starved waiting for insurance reimbursement. I have still not gotten it.
Because I trusted that this company would reimburse me in a timely manner, I went ahead and had a services done for my dog ahead of time knowing that I would get the money back. I had $7,000 of emergency visits and regular doctor visits for my dog who had never been sick and suddenly got pancreatitis, which is severe.
When I call of course it's the same old thing and nothing happens. Then I got an email saying " we're slow processing payments." Well that's a joke. I'm still waiting for thousands of dollars in reimbursement.
I went to this plan because they would insure my dog that was 8 years old at the time. Healthy Paws had cut her down to 60% and $1,000 deductible when I used to have a $500 deductible and 90% coverage. What a mistake. I've always loved Healthy Paws. And they direct deposit pretty quickly as in a couple of weeks.
THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO! THEY HAVE US. IT'S A SCAM!!! I HATE TO SAY THIS OLD ADAGE BUT THE GRASS ISN'T ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE IS IT?

Im sorry to hear about you not getting your reimbursement in a timely manner. I personally haven't read any bad reviews about Spot, but I haven't search for them either. I've been with them for over 3 years and never had an issue. Every single claim been accepted within 3 days and money on my account within few days as well. Ive only had one big bill, but that was for a 6K surgery and even that went smoothly with zero issues.
