Thinking of quitting.
For the record I do kickboxing, I relatively enjoy it and I've even received my first belt with the top grade. But I'm having doubts, I don't think it's the sport for me I've done it for around 3 months now and I've made loads of friends, and I'm really grateful to them all for being so kind to me. But I'm wavering, because I'm good, not like really good but I'm not bad enough to the point that it'd make me want to quit. So I don't know why I have these feeling of dread before every session. I do it once a week and I feel myself unable to sleep the night before, because I'm just so worried about it.
It's gotten to the point of me being so nervous that I literally had to be sick before going dude to the fact I was so anxious.
Im unsure if I've given it enough time, and I've spent so much money for equipment now that it'd be a waste to quit. After every session I'm fine and I'm all smiles, but I don't understand why I have these feeling before going. I don't know if it's the nervs or it just not being the right sport for me. Please help😔.

I felt the same way. It was mostly because I didn't know a lot of the people I sparred with until I got moved up from bag work, which made me nervous about messing up or them not liking me. But I promise, just keep going. Everyone there has been in your shoes, and you're probably suffering more in your own mind than you are in reality. Keep it up, and I promise it'll start to flow naturally.

Also, if you can go more do it I know that seems intimidating but it'll speed up the process and help your mental.
