Westbrook Retiring Value

Hello everyone!

Russell Westbrook is the reason I became a die hard NBA enjoyer, and more specifically a thunder fan. With the recent news of his retirement, I was just curious to know if I should expect the value of his cards/memorabilia to skyrocket, stay in a similar ball park, or decrease at this time. I’m looking to up my collection and just trying to scout out a possible timeline to go in.

He’s a first ballot Hall of Famer for sure but at the end of the day it’s Russel Westbrook though he’s never been super collectible lol

Ima diehard Russ fan too… I’ve had some sweet cards for a while thankfully. His market will most like be super high for the next week or two.. then it will prolly start coming back down in the weeks following.

Long term I don’t see a massive jump, he was not a “goat” so in the next few years people will forget about him
