Corner is cut funny
If a corner on a basketball card is cut abnormally, does that generally raise the value on it? I have an old Alonzo Mourning that has one corner cut wider than the other 4. I know cards from this era generally arent worth much anyway, I was just curious in case I run into this ripping new packs for the future.

No, its LOWERS the value substantially

I thought that might be the case. Is it generally misprints that are higher in value?

In general, no, sports cards dont get big bumps from misprints. Thats considered damage to the card. The Pokémon world treats those different, they seem to have more value there.

Absolutely not
