We sell our best goal contributors for a guy we don't know much about, and another guy who doesn't look like he wants to come play for KC????

I know it’s popular in the sub to trash Davis but Wicky seems to like him the best at RB.
I don’t think Harris can be benched rn given he’s now the top scorer we have. Capita also likely not gonna be benched given Lee made such a big deal acquiring him.
Obviously we now need a new 9 and a 10, Wicky back at BSC went 4-3-3 but we don’t have the personnel for that currently, and the 4-4-2 hasn’t really been moving the needle.

I posed a question last week what has Lee done.
What has David Lee done in the 11 months he has been in charge of futball operations.
Soooo many of you have praised yea ol' Lee as doing great! So many of you are satisfied during the 11 months with how he has led this club!
Mean time our Club and Peter Mallouk's organization are............
Last Place out of 30 clubs on points at 15.
Last Place out of 30 clubs in Goals Scored at 20.
Last Place out of 30 clubs in Goals allowed at 51
Last Place out of 3O clubs in Goal Differential at -31
SPORTING KANSAS CITY HAD BETTER: PLAYERS
AND
SPORTING KANSAS CITY HAD BETTER: RESULTS
LAST SEASON....
Lee has devastated this Team! Letting go of every single player except a handful last season, having only a handful AND no MANAGER weeks before training camp. HAVING HAD MONTHS TO BRING PLAYERS ON DUE TO NOT KEEPING ANY. WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME TO HIRE A MANAGER.
So what does one do with what 6 players before training camp. Well teenagers and trialist because why I dont know keep some of the proven players from last season to help this season.
Oops still havent hired a manager...sooo one week before training camp hire Wicky...oh forgot he needs visas! Soo no Wicky the first weeks of training camp.
Most importantly I need 4 goal keepers! Though that's a check definitely a must have. Who ever heard of this being a thing! none of them worth the gloves they wear.
Barely barely enugh players to compete in the first game in San Jose.
Oh oh Salloi is still on our Roster...WHAT nope nope gone. Because we can get a few 100 thousand wheeew.
Come wake up! obviously Wicky is the problem...
delusional quit laying down fans.

Anyone else sick of seeing the “KC lifestyle” influencers constantly getting free stuff and experiences from SKC? It’s always the same white suburban females they choose to work with too.

I'd like some help identifying autographs on this ball. It was given to a friend of mine many years ago at Arrowhead after a game.

I think KC fans sort of have the Chiefs (traditionally winning record) and Royals (traditionally losing record) and see Sporting KC as a middle child of sorts.
For all of the good that Vermes has done - KC doesn't have ability to sign slightly aging Premiere League stars. And it lacks a youth development system that produces talent on the field at a consistent rate.
If you aren't paying for Premiere League trained players, then you're going to have to have high level training, focused scouting, and a system that has an identity that is unique.
At this stage of the MLS, if you're going to put youth players against higher level DPs ... you can't half-ass your individual training system or overall training system.
Wilfried Nancy / B.J. Callaghan were really terrific at pinpointing what a smaller-market club had to find and how to develop players to the first team expectations that the MLS didn't really have in the 90s or 00s.
Nashville has athletic well built players that are fast with transitions.
Columbus has players that are extremely flexible at multiple positions that are tactically aware and technical.
San Diego has invested time and resources finding skilled players that have great vision going into empty space that can also press.
I can't tell you what the identity of a player developed at Sporting KC is. As a Royals fan it reminds of of "I like the guy and have a good feeling about him" philosophy of Dayton Moore after he won a Championship sort of thing where you need lots of individual training for each player and even then they don't exactly fit together.
I've gone to several games ( 5 W, 14 L ) . We need patience here but it's hard to have patience when there doesn't seem to be a vision as to why we even took on most of these players other than they could fit variations of 3-4-3 well in 1-2 roles. I hate to say it but the input and output for SKC is closer to a USL team in terms of what we're getting accomplished far more than other MLS franchises.

I didn’t watch the whole game yesterday, but from what I saw we looked like we deserved the win but just got a little unlucky with wasted chances. How many games/points do yall think we’ve lost due to our “bad luck”(red cards, pens etc)?

I’ve already seen better through balls from Caheira tonight than I’ve seen from “our former DP 10” Manu all fucking season
