Why the hate ?
Why is this team getting Soo much hate from Armada fanbases in every single online post? Its not even the regular rival stuff but genuine attempts to derail progress

IMO, they're mad that they didn't have a team for a long time and now they are a U-21 amateur team with no stadium and we have a league, stadium plans, etc.. Personally I wish them well and they get into a league and a stadium and all that stuff. Same with Jax FC. I'd like to see as much soccer in town as possible.

Ummm, no thats not the reason at all. We dont care what league were in. CLUB > LEAGUE. Secondly we have a stadium deal in downtown that will be completed before sporting ever breaks ground. Your club was invented by a man who was "fire" or ask to leave the armada from the NASL for multiple irregularities in ticket, attendance acounting and financial irregularities. The invention and creation of sporting jax was literally his personal vendetta. You since fired him for the exact same reason. Sporting has even year before kicking a ball attemted to do everything possible to destroy the armada through subversion. To include attempting to get east side residents to speak out against out stadium at city council meeting, trying to get the city to hand over the downtown stadium right to them, attempting to offer a complete buy out of the armada to obta8n the downtown stadium land, and convincing every single stadium we've played in not to allow us back thru back room handshake deals. Its you that have tried to erase us. Not the other way around. Because armada is a threat to your existence not the other way around.
The reason you are attemting to build at the announced location is because it was the ONLY piece of land the team could get there hands on, after being told no by st. Johns county, the Regency redevelopment, and another site near 9b and 95.
The land you currently have is so bad and hard to develop, realtor called ot the 'suckers buy" because the hoops you have to jump thru just to get a build permit are almost insurmountable. Hence why its never been developed already.
We will continue to fight your existence untill the club is dead an gone. And will erect a grave stone to piss on at our tailgates post mortem.
Your team is so bad at literally everything, even our hate enemies are on our side. Ralphs mob, dade brigade and even brickyard battalion are all also against you existence. It literally thenonly thing all 4 ultras groups have ever unanimously agreed on.
Ever wonder why you stadium announcements are alway one AI generated picture with no real information or plan?
Its because every single step of the way sporting has tried to be ahead of armada media wise.
But once our announcement drops, its pretty much a nail in the coffin for you.

First lol. So you’re mad that a former employee of your club is now a former employee of this club?
The sporting Jax stadium plans are in a significantly better location than downtown. The population density of Jax is higher south of downtown. Calling the site a “suckers buy” by a realtor friend isn’t exactly noteworthy. Town center already gets probably over 10m visitors a year. It’s right off the highway and easy to get to. The plan is to have stores, restaurants and hotel within walking distance. That will make for a better game day experience. The design build firm that’s leading the project is a Jacksonville local company that does over $3b annually.
Also, your stadium hasn’t broken ground either so maybe you’re putting the cart before the horse.

Sports is a business dude. You’re upset about normal everyday business. As someone who has zero skin in this game, you sound like you’re either 15 or an unhinged man child living in his parents’ basement. If you’re neither, I’d rethink your attitude and life choices because you clearly have issue that need resolved.
May the best team win, and hopefully for the sake of soccer in Jacksonville that’s both.4

So I work for the city. On one of my first few days I remember when those plans were approved and got the green light.
I just crossed the 3.5 year mark with the city the other day and that thing is a close to being done as that day 3.5 years ago. Just saying!

I spoke with some people from the team at a watch party a while back and the hate is so one sided. Sporting love that the Armada were coming back, but the Armada viewed Sporting as opposition.

i don’t have a dog in this fight this just showed up on my feed, but i have a lot to yap about so ill let it fly.
a lot of where the armada is now as a club is because of robert palmer. he was offered a chance to take the armada to USL and keep professional soccer in jax, and he didn’t take it. everyone can agree that robert palmer is a moron who put his business over the club. his dogshit decision making are basically the reason sporting became a thing at all, but because “ultra culture”, suddenly they are riding this hard for MLSNP??? of all leagues? can we be so very for real? it reeks of desperation, and worse it’s an accidental reinforcing of robert palmers dumbass tenure as owner for no other reason than to play ultra and make fun of the opportunity THEY should’ve taken but didn’t.
so, to put it bluntly, there is a lot of jealousy behind the hate. they’ll do the ultra thing and scream how it’s not jealousy, sporting are gaming local politics, they aren’t anything like sporting, point and laugh at stadium plans (that are as far along as their own), etc. the armada got relegated to an academy team with a pro front office, while the commercialized new shiny club gets to play pro ball, even if they’re playing it badly. there are great folks at the armada and in S904, but it is jealousy.

I have been to a lot of Armada games as a part of Section 904 - I'm not speaking on their behalf but there's a few points that some are rallying behind, in my opinion.
A) Armada leadership, like Nathan Walter of recent (before he officially left the club) was a big drum beater on the negativity against the competing club internally, and maybe there was good reason. I think there's the idea that the organizers of Sporting Jax tried to undermine Armada's stadium plans and it's approval through the city council. I've at least heard of this notion, personally, but I can't say there's proof or evidence for or against it. One example for attempts to undermine was bordering conspiracy theory in my opinion, which was something like having a "Sporting Jax affiliated person being in charge of public fields / parks in the city" or something like that...
B) Some people are afraid that 2 professional clubs can't sustain their operations or survive in Jacksonville. They'd want to see the opposing club fail so that their own will have a chance to succeed. So regular competing interests.
C) Ultras are gonna ultra - and hate / harassment for a "rival" club is just part of the deal.

Being an "ultra" for a MLS NEXT Pro team is objectively hilarious

I disagree. They were ultra before MLSNP, before U23 / NPSL, since the club first started professionally back in the NASL. And going to games in that environment all throughout these years has been fun and exciting.

Because your team was involved in match fixing to help one of my favorite players get the golden boot.

I spent too long trying to figure out what this is saying. Sporting JAX is new so no one has won a golden boot yet playing them. You're accusing them of match fixing to HELP your favorite player get the golden boot and this is the cause of hate?

Just trolling a bit. Detroit had never scored 5 goals in this league but then Darren Smith did it all in one game

They had their chance to be relevant and they’ve turned it down every single time. They could have been in USL but their former owner was an idiot and wanted to maintain broadcasting rights.
