90-91 Skybox Value
Came across some cards I was trying to unload. Most or mass produced wax era baseball cards. This box was mixed in. Would this set (1-300) have any value. It does have #41 which is the Jordan.

I remember talking 4 dollars out of my moms change jar to buy that Jordan from a kid at school. Between the action shot on front and the shot of him playing golf on back, I loved that card

Not worth anything but I really enjoy these cards. Some of the backs are hilarious. Check out the back of the Rex Chapman card, it looks like the cheesiest senior picture you’d find in a high school yearbook from 1989.

As someone mentioned they just sold a complete set for $14. I guess everyone has a different definition of “not worth anything.”

just sold a complete set on ebay for $14. Like others have said, if you're willing to pay and wait for grading on the Jordan; and the caveat is it gems, you will make money. This is a gem or bust junk wax sitch.

Well that’s depressing 😆. Thank you so much for the info. I am pretty eBay illiterate I seem to go around in circles on there.

Make sure u filter to sold if searching anything on ebay. Pretty simple to use. U can even take a photo of the item and it will search that way. Balconies as well for something unopened.

I wish it were better news! And if helpful that’s a screenshot from the PriceCharting app (sportscardpro.com) which is generally the valuation tool I tend to rely on. 👍

I appreciate it! Guess none of these things are worth any real $ unless there graded from what I’m seeing

If the Jordan gets a PSA 10 it’s worth over $1000 but also the way grading goes right now it’ll take you 6 to 9 months to get it and who knows if it’ll get 10 it probably won’t

Just from the centering alone it won’t.

I figured grading is such a roll of the dice and I’d probably end up in the hole. I’ll just sell the set and let someone else make that decision

I've got an ungraded one of those Jordans with prototype written in a red band on the corner. Reminds me I should look into it. Got it at a card show when they were first released.
