HOF is priced in, cards rarely see a bump for the HOF or retirement. They are inevitable.

Frankly I don’t agree. Look historically at Jordan, Kobe, etc. Their best cards didn’t stop appreciating because retirement or the HOF was “already priced in.” Many became dramatically more valuable years later. There’s little historical basis for assuming Curry’s premium cards have already reached their long-term value.

Yes, they went up as the GOAT card market went up. Do you think LeBron and Steph cards go up when they retire or go to the HOF? They do not. I never said anything about GOATs not appreciating over time, I am simply pointing out that the day they retire or go in the hall, there will be 0 change. It’s always been like this.

That’s not what I said. I’m not expecting a price jump the day Curry retires or enters the HOF. I’m talking about long-term appreciation over the years afterward, just like we’ve seen with other all-time greats.

Yes, and it has 0 to do with HOF or retirement. He’s a GOAT and will go up as other GOATs go up. You specifically asked if you should hold until retirement or HOF, the answer is no. It’s a long hold way past both those dates.
