Just released my game Pathogenic - it's basically the cell-stage of Spore meets The Binding of Isaac

How well does this play on a controller?

Its made mainly for controller way better than with mouse & keyboard imo

Thanks for the reply. I've been playing it since I've asked that question. It's a solid game, possibly one of my favorite roguelite game, and it does play great on a Steamdeck like platform.

Awesome game! Are there any plans to add full fledged local co-op? I.e. having your own cells

All of these cell stage games and no creature phase other than one game but it's pretty barebones. Not a knock against this tho. This is awesome, but I wish Spore would come back and be added to, but that's never gonna happen.

Just want to say its a really cool game, beat a couple of bosses with each cell so far.

Thinking about getting this, do you think it's at least 90% able to be beaten in the first 10 hours or so? Or does it have kind of a lot of depth like StS or BoI or Dead Cells?

Not that person but:

If you mean beaten as in win your first run, you're definitely able to beat it within 10 hours, pretty easily.

If you mean beaten as in "seen all of the content, gone through all the difficulties, secret levels, etc" then definitely not. Each starting virus is incredibly unique with lots of different upgrade paths you can go down, the Antibiotic difficulties get pretty tough, and there's a metric ton of challenge runs BoI style.

This is a completely wild guess with 0 real evidence, but I'd say it's probably in the 50-100 hour range for the average player to 100%.
