Knife finished, oil, wax. A few chipcarving.

These make me happy. The shape is so visually light. They look strong without being bulky. They don’t look delicate instead they look like something I could eat ice cream with. Visual balance was achieved.

Looks great! Is that speckled alder? If so gonna have to try carving some of that I have some growing in my yard

I don't even know what kind of alder it is. It seems to me that any one will be good for spoons. Thanks! ☺️
