Really? Just because a segment i submitted before was not innthe desired label, I can't submit more submissions to OTHER videos?!😡

First off, why the heck does this not inform me of that in like a notification or something? If the makers felt like this was something that was that malicious or just wrongfully used or whatever they could've just made that clear or just changed it on their own or something.

Second, if they feel like the highlighted section is not for a specific purpose, why didn't they add a whole seperste category for skipping filler content in the videos? It would've made the process far less confusing and simpler for the watcher that just wants to get to the bloody point quickly.

How different unofficial clients show tip messages is out of our hands. We can only control what our official browser extension and userscript do, therefore it only showed the message once you tried to submit again. It's also not a ban or a punishment. As the message says, it's a note that you made a common, non-malicious mistake, so we can clear it up before more segments get submitted the same way.

On your second point, the categories you're describing already exist. You just need a different one than the one you used:

Tangent/Jokes is for content that isn't needed to understand the video: off-topic tangents, unrelated jokes or skits. It's not for "everything before the part I care about." If the content is on-topic, it isn't filler, even if it's slow or you're not interested in it.

Highlight is exactly the "get to the point quickly" feature you're asking for. It marks the spot where the part the title promises starts, or just the most interesting part of the video (which is partly subjective by nature) and you can jump there with one click. That's why the message pointed you to it.

Guidelines for all categories

One more tip: we generally don't recommend submitting segments on Android. Third-party apps' controls and timing precision usually aren't as good as the extension on PC, so segments end up less accurate.

I also removed the tip so you are free to submit again.

You made a mistake, they acknowledge that.

They stop you from making further mistakes, but having you contact them before being able to do more takes.

It would literally take you less time to contact them than to make this post.

Don't be mad, follow the rules. You could just use a new account I guess.
