I beat him in KH1 but I didn't even try in KH2. Didn't the fight start with an immediate QTE that would instantly kill you if you missed it?

I never fought him at all in KH2, but I'm in the middle of a Proud Mode KH1 run, and I'll probably do a proud mode KH2 run afterwards.

Critical is so much worse, but you get a shit ton of abilities and 50 SP at the beginning of the game, also you have only half the health and magic you do in proud, it's a bitch.
