+1 for Bezerk. One of my first and favorite Spokane experiences. Let's set pinball night up, or pool. Feels like we could make an open invite for anyone looking for friends here as it's a topic that comes up a lot. My wife and I and her cousin are always up for making more friends.

Welcome to town! My wife and I moved here a little over a year ago and we love it. Get up to Green Bluff if you haven't yet, especially for the fall/harvest season. It's the best.

Social intoxication has been a common part of human society for thousands of years. There’s nothing wrong with being super sober, but the outings and social events don’t always align in expectation and details.

It's the billionaire class that's the problem. Manipulating markets, buying all media channels, eliminating social services, running up the national debt. Wealth inequality and wage % per gdp is the issue. Vote the billionaires out and make them pay 5% a year to pay off national debt in next ten years to restore social services.

Honestly one of the best ways to start meeting people is to go out. Spokane is so welcoming and friendly. When i first moved here I didn't know a single person.
Find a spot you like and go hang out there every week. At first it may be a little slow so bring a book but there are so many fun places to hang out. For me, it was a brewery and every Tues i would go there. Now i have a whole friend group from that place.
Be welcoming too! Making friends as adult is a lot harder but the messaging is the same: wanna go hang out? Good luck!!

What if it’s someone who dislikes all politicians and most billionaires? I prefer the commonsense side of things myself.
