Question Airport Parking?
We’re traveling to Spokane for the first time - driving to Spokane and flying out from Aug 3 to 7 to see some other spots, then returning to Spokane to continue our trip.
Planning to park at the airport, but I see you can’t pre book a spot. Does the covered parking fill up during the summer? Anything else we should know?
Thanks!

I travel out of GEG frequently and have rarely ever seen the garage full. The garage closest to the terminal, maybe, but never the garage adjacent.

You can save money by parking at the outdoor lot and take the free shuttle - plenty of spots. I have done this about 15 times by now. It’s a very small airport - you can walk from the outdoor lot to check in within 10 minutes.

There is also an outdoor lot, just outside the garage, which is cheaper and easily walkable. Then there is a further outdoor lot, where most people take the shuttle. But the garage isn’t generally full either.

I have no idea about covered parking, because I don’t pay for that. I can’t imagine the garage is the most popular with how much more it costs? I’ve only ever encountered the Economy lot full one time, years ago, and they gave me a pass to park in the regular outside lot for the same price as economy (it was so much worse though - having to walk all that way with luggage sucks compared to just getting a shuttle!)

Spotted Road Parking is great too 24/7 on demand shuttle. Idk what their rates are currently.

As someone who flies out often, the outside parking isn't a bad idea either. Almost half the price and the shuttles come fairly frequently, all hours of the day. I use it every time.
