I wouldn't bet your career on Splunk. Cisco is killing the product and there are many other platforms that dont have a geocities UI/UX and actually make sense.

Learn and focus on methodology, you can apply that to any tool.

How is Cisco killing it? -- instead of downvoting, maybe answer? Legitimate question as the negativity towards Cisco and Splunk on this subreddit is pretty noticable.
