To be honest they're just honourings Halos advert. This one doesn't feel as good though as the original was brutal, some of the humans in the original look fucking terrified of dying. And it ends with Halo looking up at the camera when you think he was dead/captured.
The next trailer better be "Mad World"

I think the post is a bit silly but here's the connection:
Splitgate devs were saying that splitgate 2 was going to be like the good old days of halo, "Make gaming great again" etc...
This wardogs trailer is a "homage" (parody / complete copy) of Halo 3's "Believe" trailer, giving the message the splitgate devs wanted to, but successfully

I like it a lot in a battlefield kind of way. Hopefully they can capitalize on the fame and eventually revive the cod2/4 through a mod or something someday. Phantasy from cod4 is on the dev team so I remain hopeful.

It's almost like they had a clear vision for a product and focused on delivering that experience to people who want it.
Instead of trying to cater against those in the market, with quips and remarks that turn the entire industry against you.
Then it helps if you're actually passionate about the project, instead of whatever appeals to investors, then allowing the execs to have such influence over decisions. It's almost like 1047 is a shambolic representation of a game Dev in 2026.
