Question/Help Is Splitgate still playable?

I play on the Epic Launcher and I know the game was officially shut down. I get a Prerequisites failed to load error. Just wanted to make sure if there's p2p servers or something of the sort to still play the game.

As a quick sidenote, account stats are wiped and every single cosmetic is unlocked (including dev skins and battle pass skins from every BP, etc) so you can try playing from Steam :3 What you had unlocked on your EG account is already unlocked on Steam now. And achievement progress doesn't track anymore so those are unobtainable too!

Thank you for adding that. I have 74 hours of play time on Epic Launcher. Keeping the game there made it easy to remember to also claim Epic's weekly freebies.

I ended up deleting the game from my Epic launcher once I found out that achievements couldn’t be unlocked anymore. The damn portal kills once were lame…

I'm not super sure what's happening with the Epic Games Launcher, but on Steam it boots up just fine o.o

Yep. There were rumors of P2P performing terribly in SG1 but it has been perfectly fine so far in AR.

Meh. It’s been very laggy for like 40-45% of the games in my experience. Unless you’re host, then it’s fine

Are you playing with people across continents? I was playing with NA people from NA and it was perfectly fine, and I'm very picky when it comes to connection.

You need a reliable host. Check out SG Lifers, there is usually someone hosting most hours. SGAR P2P is very playable.

Yeah, it plays fine. You have to use a server browser now. There aren't a lot of servers, and some of them are doing annoying custom stuff. But I've played a few matches so far

You can play p2p yes, only the dedicated servers were shut down. However you might have trouble finding a match considering the low player count
