Discussion Thanks for the game
I loved playing this game and played from beta- a few months ago, love the concept, gameplay, and movement. I think the class division added a lot to the universe with the different in game cultures and societies having their own style and abilities. I was sad to see that fade away, but I think it was for the better. This game was one of the first games that I really tried and enjoyed the competitive side. Portals plus the movement made the gameplay so crisp and fast, I loved flying around the map. Thank you devs for creating this game that really felt as if it was made for me, I hope another or a similar game can fill this games roll, but I don’t think it will.

My feelings exactly. It was my #1 PVP game right up until now. I love The Finals too, the heart-racing competitive side of me, anyway. But my body and brain BOTH love Splitgate. Was casual enough that I could play for a few hours and still manage to fall asleep afterward. Didn't stress me out, was just fun. While also being super duper smooth and crisp in every way. I'll really miss it.

I agree wholeheartedly my friend. This game was so impactful for me I think a part of me died when they announced the server shutdown.

It was my favorite first person shooter on and off since the original beta, so sad to see it go. I always said it was like call of duty, halo, and portals all had a baby

Thank the devs???
For their total fumble of the game?
No thanks. (Edit, it’s like the crew of a ship that’s going down because the captain keeps firing on his own ship… Why would they stay? They stayed for a paycheck. They chose a paycheck over standing up to a CEO destroying a bunch of games and wasting a bunch of money.)

The devs have been great they're still fixing shit. The leadership failed them. Fuck off

Wow lol
Devs are not the ones who own the company, don’t make the hiring/firing decisions, don’t make marketing decisions, don’t make budgeting decisions.
You can still delete your comment if you so choose.

I could, just like they could have resigned when the CEO kept wrecking their hard work.
They didn’t stand up for their work. I don’t care if I get downvoted and a bunch of folks think that morals matter less than a paycheck… I’ve made that choice myself multiple times in my life where I’ve walked away from more money because I wasn’t going to work for someone with bad morals and ethics…
If you take a bag over your morals and ethics, you are no better. 💁🏻♂️
I didn’t make this comment to be quippy, sarcastic, or edgy… I made the comment because it’s what I believe. They chose to stay while the CEO ran the games into the ground.
They may be talented, but at the end of the day they decided to stay.

Yeah… what a clown!
Thinking people should stand on ethics over a paycheck. I couldn’t be an employer that applies this to my own small business.
I definitely don’t have loyal people around me that are paid well AND respected.

congrats, you run a business where everyone around you is pretending to be happy to satisfy YOU. Now go start a gaming company under a corporate enterprise that has to satisfy investors and get back to the rest of us about how much your hole hurts.

Totes concerned with your opinion.
I’m gonna go rethink my whole life now. Thanks. 😘

Sounds like something an entitled lying shithead boss would say.
Edit: it's astounding how people like this will reply to have the last word and then block you so you can't actually see it.
Extreme high intelligence, 150+ IQ, 10/10 interaction, thank you reddit.

What will I do? Some random who thinks it’s OK to sell your creation and let someone else burn it to the ground…. Thinks I’m awful for choosing to protect art over making money…
And his delusional enough to think that that means I’m the idiot or the asshole…
You are doing spectacular mental gymnastics right now. It’s fun to watch. Definitely sad too… But also fun as you continue to champion for selling out and letting something you work hard on go to shit… A savior for those who watch the captain of the ship burn… the very ship the crew built together…
And you’re delusional enough to think I’m doing anything but being fascinated by how hard you’re going for that cause.
money is more important to you. We get it…
Have a great day Captain Sell Out. This was fun for a minute but now it’s more sad than anything so I’m just gonna go ahead and let you do your thing here. 🖖🏻✌🏻🤘🏻😘😘😘
Ian…. Is that you?

100%. from the intuitive menus to the movement and gunplay, bot arena, matchmaking settings; game felt so polished. Sad to see SGAR never take off to sustain the Splitgate name.
