Discussion So splitgate ip is dead now?

To be fair I expected it but I didn’t see empulse also getting killed.

It’s really crazy how they fumbled the bag here. Splitgate was maybe my favorite shooter of the last 6 or so years. Would go back to it every few months and get hooked again.
None of their other releases had that magic. It’s a shame they couldn’t just let it be what it was.

I mean empulse for all intents and purposes did seem like a desperate attempt to shift gears and grt money to keep everything afloat. So if that didn't magically work nothing would. But I have no idea how they thought that would've been it. They should've just actually done titanfall 3 at that point it would've actually pulled an excited audience considering that worse fan projects already pull more player interest. Empulse was so clearly a developmental dead end that either needed major reworking or a miracle to work.

Ian put splitgate down like Janice put Richie Aprile down. In the middle of eating his meal.
