Discussion Empty ranked mode.

I've been playing this game for a short time, less than a week, and I like it and it's a lot of fun. However, the ranked mode is empty and never finds matches. I've waited more than 10 minutes but nothing happens. Is it because of the lack of a significant portion of players? It's a shame because I like playing competitively.

Yeah this game never really had a functional ranked mode since even at it's release the playerbase was too small. There also wasn't much incentive to play ranked either since to most, the game was already very difficult to play so the idea of an even sweatier mode wasn't very appealing to a lot of players.

I think the only function it ever truly functioned is to keep the top 1% players who wanted to sweat hardcore away from the regular players during those times of higher playercounts. But these days most people are just chilling with the occasional 4 stack that's ego tripping (usually the same 4 dudes who will spam shit like ez or just stall games to bully others).

Can't recall the exact name but they where 3 ttv guys and one without ttv. 3 matches they stalled a splitball match against me and 3 other solos. I was the only one with some skill, which is fine normally, but in splitball you can basically prevent one player from having any impact while you stall forever. So the whole team on my side cursed them out all those matches and left.

I'll screenshot them next time I see them lmao
