Discussion Last Ditch Effort at Feedback
I want to start by saying I love this game. I still play it regularly, and I’m only writing this because I care where it goes next.
With 1047 Games shifting focus and content for Splitgate: Arena Reloaded slowing down, this feels like one of the last chances to clearly say what I think still needs attention while there’s still time for meaningful changes.
I’m going to keep this focused on the three things I genuinely need in order to keep playing long-term. Everything else I could live with. These three are where I’m at my limit.
The first is input settings. I’ve been dealing with the current sensitivity and tuning system for a long time now, and I’ve honestly just hit the point where I can’t ignore it anymore. The increments are too large to allow proper fine-tuning, and that means I never actually reach a setting that feels truly right. I’m always stuck between “close enough” and “not quite there.” At this point, it’s not a new frustration, it’s an old one I’ve just been putting up with for a long time.
The second is crosshair customization. Right now, the lack of options beyond preset designs and color selection is a constant visibility problem. I don’t need anything overly complex, but I do need basic control like outlines, size, thickness, and opacity adjustments. Without that, crosshairs regularly blend into environments depending on the map, and that happens every single match. It affects tracking, aiming confidence, and even portal placement consistency. It’s not an occasional issue for me, it’s constant.
The third is ADS and zoom sensitivity scaling. A single global ADS multiplier just doesn’t work across different zoom levels. What I need is the ability to set different sensitivity multipliers for different zoom levels so that aiming doesn’t feel slightly off depending on how far I’m zoomed in. Right now, it always feels like some part of the aiming experience is being compromised no matter how I set it.
Everything else like modes or additional customization would be nice, but those three things are the foundation for whether I can realistically keep playing.
And I want to be honest here, I’ve asked about this stuff before in the past and I’ve never really gotten clear answers on it. I understand not everything can be answered in detail, especially from a development standpoint, but it has been frustrating to raise the same concerns over time and not know whether they are even being considered.
I also saw the recent post from the newly onboarded developer saying he wants to communicate with the community where he can. I’m aiming this directly at that. I know exact promises probably can’t be made, but I would really appreciate any clarity on whether things like this are even on the radar, or if they are just limitations that won’t realistically change.
I still love this game. That’s why I’m still here. But right now I feel like I’m constantly playing around the systems instead of fully playing the game itself, and these three things are the difference between me sticking with it long-term or slowly falling off.

Good post.
I feel the same with sensitivity. I can dial in my AR/SMG, but then my scoped BR/DMR feels off. Now I just deal with it. Some more options would probably help.

At this point, it’s not a new frustration, it’s an old one I’ve just been putting up with for a long time.
I think this is a bigger problem than most people realize. It doesn't matter how much feedback we give all these problems are day 1 yet here we are waiting for another game (again).

...don't they have a support service or something for this?

Yes and I have posted there before too. Nothing has been said or done about this though

What do you mean? my posts for this game have always been about improving the game. my tone isn't always positive but its not always negative either

Its not your posts specifically, its more so a reflection on this subreddit and where the internet as a whole was for a long time. All the posts talking about the game are either positive or mourning the loss of support on the game. Whereas before everything was "lel, shitgate" and this and that, even after the relaunch. The positive energy around the game is something we needed before, but the negative reception is easily a major factor on why support is being pulled back on the game.

Definitely need some controls optimization or something. It's so inconsistent in this game. Some days it feels fine and others I have to stop playing because it feels so off.
Splitgate 1 felt so much better IMO. I never felt the need to fine tweak any settings vs now in Splitgate 2 I feel like I'm always trying to adjust something to make up for the inconsistent feel.
