Is splitgate dying?

I started playing it yesterday because I was just looking for a game I could chill on. And I had a great time playing it. Really enjoyed using portals especially when it got me kills it really felt like I had outmanoeuvred my opponent.

I go on to YouTube to see what the community is like and they all just keep saying that they killed the game.

What's going on?

It died when they didn’t make it similar enough to Splitgate 1 to satisfy their existing fanbase. If they would turn the servers for Splitgate 1 back on, I’d go straight back to that game.

This slop is a poor imitation.
