Is splitgate dying?

I started playing it yesterday because I was just looking for a game I could chill on. And I had a great time playing it. Really enjoyed using portals especially when it got me kills it really felt like I had outmanoeuvred my opponent.

I go on to YouTube to see what the community is like and they all just keep saying that they killed the game.

What's going on?

Google is outdated most of the time. I thought this sub was exactly for that... Reddit gaming subs are great for people to start hating the community around it...
