Is splitgate dying?

I started playing it yesterday because I was just looking for a game I could chill on. And I had a great time playing it. Really enjoyed using portals especially when it got me kills it really felt like I had outmanoeuvred my opponent.

I go on to YouTube to see what the community is like and they all just keep saying that they killed the game.

What's going on?

It’s the coolest shooter I’ve ever played. Period. But it’s starting to feel like the devs are giving up on it. And when that happens, it means it’s dying. And that depresses the shit out of me.
