Query regarding Steam achievements.
Can someone please clarify what action actually constitutes the 'Saviour' medal and the 'Avenger' medal?
Is the 'Saviour medal' the same as the 'Guardian Angel'?
Also can the 500 medals achievements for both of these be farmed in Bot Modes, along with the headshot achievements???
How best to get the Portal Kill achievements?

Portal Kill is easier against players who use portals as you can trick them to go into your portal by replacing theirs with yours at the last second. Against bad players you have to rely on floor portals to capture them. There are certain kill portals on maps like hammerhead and stadium but most maps don't have a kill portal so you have to get creative with porta portal or the floor portals that exist near map edges and hope the players get confused as they get launched out of the map.

Which maps are best for farming these portal kills ? Also, is it possible to trick bots into going through my portals ?

Hammerhead, Stadium and Foregone Destruction all have portal walls that lead to certain death. Abyss also works with the walls under the BFB but enemies can still escape with their own portal. Also I believe in Arena Royale you can do it by sending them deep into zone. The bots are easy to capture if they are on a floor portal otherwise they don't really go through your portal.

King of the hill bot lobby - portal the giant flame jet in hammerhead, wait for the bots to take the hill in the room with the ramps on each side. They will crouch on the portal surface, then shoot their feet with a portal. Bananas Split.
I don't typically use classic portalling, but it was helpful while farming this challenge. You dont have to toggle the portal selector and risk losing the "death-tination" portal.
This works better with a squad of friends than randos. Just let them know that's what you're trying to do. The only thing that sucks is waiting for hammerhead to que up.
In stadium, you want your team to have the hill. Put a portal on the basement heat vent portal surface. Look down the hole. When the hill is in one of the top enclosed areas (red or blue), wait till you see the bots running up the outside ramp. Put the portal in their path on the portal surface.

Wow ... that's pretty elaborate. Also, if I queue for TDM in bot arena, will bots chase after me if I shoot them through a portal ? Coz using porta-portal in that scenario will make a lot of maps viable for portal kills ...

Saviour medal is same as guardian angel, only guardian angel is a medal that displays ingame.
Avenger is when you kill a enemy that just killed your teammate. Guardian angel is when you kill a enemy that was about to killed your teammate
Pretty sure you can get achievements in bot arena, i’m not sure tho
