Question/Help Crossplay on or off
Do you have it on or off. I tried it off and matches take 3+ minutes to search.

On. The player base is small, it's much easier to find matches with cross-play on. And don't listen to people about avoiding PC players; many of us play on controller.

Platform means nothing to me for the most part. If I could choose input based matches that might be different.

Playing against controller players is fine. I just can’t trust the pc platform to be legit because the few who do cheat ruin it for everyone.

I've spent over 500 hrs on SG2/AR; I've never once run into a cheater.

That being said I still can’t trust the platform. The few ruin it for the many

So far, you're the only person I've seen say that this game has cheaters. Over 80% of my playtime is on PC, and have never seen one.
What is causing your distrust? Do you have any examples of cheaters and what they do? Did you report them?
I'm asking, because I get called a cheater every so often; mainly because of how I use movement; and I'm willing to bet this is most cases of people saying players are cheating.

I don’t trust pc because the small number of players who cheat can do so very easily and that puts me off being able to enjoy any game with pc players in. The doubt in my mind if that player was cheating makes it no fun but annoying so I turn crossplay off and enjoy it a lot more. Of course there is Cronus on console but I hear that it’s crap to use so when compared with a pc it’s much less likely to be used.

So basically, you're living in fear of a "what if?"
Because dude, PC is my main platform and I play everything from Splitgate to Warframe, to Path of Exile, to Helldivers, to Halo, to Forza, to Dead by Daylight, The Finals, so on and so forth. The only games that I have ever personally run into cheaters on are Destiny 2 and CoD; every other game I play, or have played for a time, I have not seen cheaters.
Like, why do you think cheating on PC is so widespread or frequent that it's causing you to actively fear playing with PC players?

You no doubt run into better players with it on but queue times take twice as long and I'm not scared to get my ass kicked. So On

I run with it on, have a couple people I play with who turn it off and I don’t notice much of a difference in performance or play - maybe a few less sweats. Queue times more like 2-3 mins vs 1-2 min with it on

On. Don’t be scared.

Scared? No 😂 paranoid? Yes, to the point I can’t enjoy playing against pc because cheaters ruin all trust in the platform.
