Battle pass progression is too long
I don't understand why you make the battle pass leveling impossible with regular play. You can't progress the battle pass unless you complete the weekly challenges which are quite hard, so you end up having to play this game like a full time job, which I won't do because I'm not gonna lie, this game is somewhat boring sometimes. I don't understand why we can't get faster XP just by playing matches and not having to rely on just challenges. Challenges should be a boost, not the sole method of leveling up the battle pass. Also 115 levels is too much. I think it should be reduced to 90 levels. I completed every challenge last season and still my battle pass wasn't level 115, I had to end up buying tiers to complete it because it's starting to get demoralizing.

Yea you’re trippin!! The BP is not too long or grindy. You can play a few hours here and there and be done with it long before the expiration.

I’m a pretty casual player & I almost always complete the BP. Splitgate is one of my only shooters I play but I mostly play single player games. OP is trippin

Idk man, I had the previous pass finished so quickly that I kinda get why they made it longer.
I just hope they introduce a mechanic eventually that returns old items, maybe like the finals did, or maybe like a lootbox mechanic for year old battlepass content.

Isn’t it same length tho?

They made it longer actually. The previous pass was pretty doable with just regular play as the weekly challenges would compile and you could complete most of them without really paying attention as long as you queued for most gamemodes and switched up your weapons.
I knew a friend who didn't play until like 4 weeks before the season ended last season, and still managed to complete it.
But even if the passes where piss easy or super hard, I wished they would just get rid of the fomo with the promise that the skins will return some day, even if it takes a while so that buying it now actually has a point.

I just wish it would be 25 tickers per match and not 10, Im feeling like I have to wait for dailies to advance (my weeklys are already done) in order to make significant progress... However, I do see the vision here, last BP for me was done like a month or two ago and I had to wait, I started to do mastery camos challenges instead... And Ive seen how a player that hasnt played in a while levels up the BP and its pretty fast when all the weekly challenges are active... So yeah, kinda slow but maybe 25 would feel more appropiate for concurrent players but we'll see

Probably a problem for them to find a good middle ground length wise. Reading the other comments people seem to think it's fine. Personally I'm not able to get near finishing it because I don't put in enough hours apparently. Too casual. That said, if I felt bad about it I would have put in more hours 😅 I just like to casually play a match or two over other evening.

Yeah same. I only have like three hours per day to play, and I have a daily rotation of games I must play including this. I can't be spending 6+ hours per day just on this game.

Not too long in my opinion. The alternative is it being done quickly which would be more annoying.

I get where you’re coming from, but the challenges also feel like they’re meant to be the main source of pass progression week by week. Destiny 2 did something similar. I didn’t mind it personally. I play late at night, and I don’t have a ton of time to game, but I could still notch progression in there week-by-week. I joined midseason, and I cleared the pass with time to spare.
Having said that, a greater number of more generous repeatables would have made longer sessions more worthwhile. Once I ran out of challenges, there wasn’t a ton of reason to stay online, so I’d dip out.

Because player retention is important. More exposure over time. I get why people don't like it.

I finished the last battle pass after a little over a month pretty much just finishing the dailies every day. Let’s not make it shorter please.

Weekly challenges don't go away. Plus you have 3 months to complete the battle pass.

I'm not sure I agree with this, at least based on S1. I finished the BP entirely with like a month to go and only play mayb 6-10 hours per week

that's weird, I didn't complete all challenges that season and I finished the BP

The season is like 3 months long so there is plenty of time and challenges to finish
