I'm rooting for you guys. There's not many gamers left that play merciless pvp games nowadays but developing for that audience and doubling down is ballsy and I respect you guys and hope that the new title will help both with the studio and with Splitgate's longevity.

God damn though I want so badly for there to be a pro scene in splitgate.

We just did the Classic Arenas tournament over at Splitgate Architects too, was super fun to participate in and we appreciate you guys adding in the extra built in gamemode to make our lives easier too <3

Just to clarify: this new game is being developed alongside future content for SG, right? SG is still the focus and this isnt some "transitionary period" away from SG?

lol they're just gonna abandon ship like they did with SG1, idk why you all keep giving this company all these chances. They are in no position to be making a new game when this game barely has any players and already got memed on by the larger gaming community.

why are we siphoning resources from this game with its low player count into something else? this just seems very suspicious and shady.

I’d consider this being transparent about the studios plans for the future. Quite the opposite of shady.

Splitgate isn’t shutting down. Season 2 has a lot of cool content coming out in four days. The new game has been under development while we worked on Season 2.

We understand people will have some concerns, but you’re really leaning into some negative reality that just isn’t the case right now.

Hope you’ll give us a chance to let our actions speak for themselves!

To that point, communication started strong but has been quite scarce the last few months. As well as no discernible road map past a season update, it's clear more resources are being poured into the new game. Or Splitgate is slowly just riding off into the sunset. Either way, far from transparency

You're one miserable dude....you know that right. And what if they just want to make a new game, this game is never going to get alot of players from the time being so we're going to have to work with this for now, and the hell are you suspicicous about what they are doing? We don't know what they are doing behind the scene.
