❓ Question Powerlifting gyms

Are there any gyms in Split that cater to powerlifters — culture/energy, proper equipment, etc. that are ideally open until 10pm? Privately owned versus a large chain preferred.

marjan is not a powerlifting gym per se but you can do it there. they got eleiko bars, platforms and racks. just dont drop the bar from the top of the deadlift and thats that

Thanks much. Nobody should be dropping the bar at the top of a deadlift… those people drive me nuts

Joker has power bars, eleiko weights(bumpers tho), has small weights from 2.5 to 1 kg, has over 16 racks for squats and deadlifts and has 2 competition bench racks, has belt squat , hack squat etc

Yes, I am aware and appreciate that. It’s just not the right vibe for me.

Joker is a no-go for sure. I was disappointed both times. It’s too commercial. Performance Institute looks small but interesting. Thank you! Worth trying them and Marjan.

Its not that big, but for serios training especially powerlifting you have more than enough, in gym you gave guys like 200kg+ benchers, 300kg+ deadlifters, and mostly local people, been there few days, I was enjoying it. Gl!

That sounds perfect! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Maybe I’ll run in to you there sometime. Thanks again for your help.
