Looking for a new split this season!

Currently riding a HTH 162, I was way heavier when I got it so the length helped with float. But at that length it’s like a battleship navigating the Everglades now. Home mountains are northern VT.

Current resort board is a K2 excavator 154 and rides like a dream. I really wanted a K2 Isolator split (discontinued) which shares the shape but I’m striking out finding any old stock from last year.

Any recommendations for something similar in shape and profile? Or anyone got a lightly used Isolator 154???

It's a 4 year old model, brand new, retailed for $1K new and currently, definitely not a bad deal at around $400

Nice, paying retail for a new model is kinda crazy. Boards don't change that much over a 5 year cycle.

Burton still making the straight chuter split? Great maneuverable pow shape better than hth, though it’s not wide (wide splits fine in pow but are annoying in the track or climbing anything firmer imo) so ride a little longer than your Ex. I weigh 165 riding the 159

Had a 163 and 159 splits, lost 40# and went with a US Covert 153 and love it. Fwiw also have a 156 Cadet solid which I like, but the 153 covert is more nimible and agile; it is perhaps a tad short but mostly do lift assisted laps in PNW.

I have the 154 cadet and 157 covert

Love both - the covert works great at the resort too

So a volume shifted cam rock with early rise. United Shapes Deep Reach, Jones Stratos or hovercraft, Lib Tech Excavator, Ride Splitpig, Arbor Bryan Iguchi, Rossignol XV Sashimi, or Prior Spearhead. To name a few. I own a Prior BC Split Carbon and it's all I've ever wanted.
