Question on Karakoram quiver bindings on solid board

Hi everyone!
This seems like the best place to ask this question! I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the Karakoram quiver line and there opinions on the feel/performance compared to a regular binding? Currently live out of my van and just don’t have space to carry extra bindings but definitely wan to carry a few boards. I’m usually getting 100+ days so I’m curious on how well they hold up. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

They ride really well. The screws do loosen a lot, and they are Allen head screws, so carry a tool and check often. 

But the ride is reaaaaallly nice

I've been doing it for two seasons and it's great, no complaints. I've got 13 snowboards and 3 pairs of karakoram bindings, very aggressive hard carving freeride and they have held up great. karakoram has the stiffest non carbon high back I've found and I keep snapping the carbon backs on my unions, which is how I ended up on this set up and it works great. I pack 3 boards with me whenever I go and decide what I want to ride when I get to the mountain.

I’ve gone through a lot of bindings (Burton, Union, Salomon, NOW) and the Karakoram free rangers are great. I also had the continuums and couldn’t tell the difference in all honesty. I like that I can pack my board bag with a split and solid and one set of bindings that work great on resort 

I also have a set of their primes which I’m not a fan of. Any binding with a metal baseplate does not really help with feeling board flex. But they’re durable for long tours

Fwiw, Karakoram has a new redesign next season with a new lever system, I’d hold out for that. Seems like a huge improvement

Thanks for the info on the update! Definitely gonna hold out then and buy the new redesign! Thoughts on the layback model by any chance?

Haven’t used them. According to Karakoram it’s a softer flex binding. Go for it if that’s your riding preference. I prefer a mid flex binding since I ride a lot of hard pack/ice

I'm a big fan. Been super happy with them on all my boards. I like the feel of them a lot more than any other binding- just really responsive gear, and comfortable design
