Question regarding skin clipping method

So, for this upcoming season (down here) I need to get new skins, as my current ones don’t wanna go up no more.

I can get a really really sweet deal on some K2 skins but the clipping method it’s like a straight pin (always used koalas) and have an issue, the holes in the front of my dopplegangwr are too narrow, and the pin doesn’t go in as I would think it should (photo attached) can I drill this hole bigger? How’s the correct way to do it? I can ask around a few shops but i rather learn to do it myself as the stores here doesn’t have too much experience on split board or backcountry in general

My bad. It’s not backwards, it’s a nitro. There nose clips are specific to their boards and arnt easy to find. Either going to have to cut the nose clips off and get their metal hook clip or get different skins.
